The people in Beijing, China have been stuck in a traffic jam for 9 days. 9 days!!!!! Can you imagine?!?! I can't. I get antsy and a little crabby in a 20-30 minute traffic jam on Highway 52 in the mornings. I think I would lose my mind in a 9 day...9 day...traffic jam. Apparently the folks in the nearby residential areas have set up food and water stations, selling for inflated prices. I bet they are making a killing!!! Wonder what the folks that only have plastic (credit/debit cards) are doing? Hmmm. And what about going to the bathroom? Shower? I am pretty sure I would have abandoned my car and started walking.
