As a mother of a little girl, I can only say - AMEN!!! Addie may hate me for it but I will be her mother, not her BFF. Not saying I won't be a person she can talk to and confide in or trust with her thoughts, dreams and feelings....that is not the case at all. It just means that I will not worry about pissing her off to protect her or keep her classy and respectable!! She will be the little girl she is and should be for as long as possible and I am not ashamed to say it!
